Well, I'm finally working again, though this particular job might be the end of me! LOL
FEMA has made Baton Rouge their 'base of operations' and alot of us with Express Temp Agency are working there. I personally am part the Admin team - helping out with payroll, admitting new people, making sure their paperwork is filled out, etc. There's a team of us, so I'm not doing it alone and we all seem to get along very well.
The pay is spectacular, I figure I'll clear close to 2.5K a month. It's just the fact that I'm working 12 hour days, 7 days a week with no breaks at the moment. I'm told this breakneck speed should only last the first two months and after that we'll get a much needed rest.
My body is a bit slow to adapt though and today (Friday) I ended up going home a bit early since I was feeling so bad. I took a nap and feel better, so hopefully I should be okay by tomorrow. I do hope so, because I like this job and the people I'm working with.
